Harsh R.

Cybersecurity student who builds for the web.

Profile

IT diploma student focused on cybersecurity. I learn by building: I've designed and shipped a security-hardened portfolio with its own CTF, a school-management product I pitched to real schools, and an ESP32 hardware project — using AI-assisted development while I learn programming and security fundamentals properly. Looking for a cybersecurity or web internship where I can learn fast and be useful.

Experience

Founder & Technical Lead — ClassSec

2026

White-label school management system for small private schools

  • Designed a multi-school ERP with six role-based portals (super admin, principal, teacher, student, parent) covering attendance, fees, timetables and results, in English and Gujarati.
  • Made security-first product decisions: role-based access, hashed passwords with reset-only recovery, and no payment gateway so no card data is ever stored.
  • Pitched it to schools in the Junagadh district; learned first-hand how switching costs and trust shape buying decisions. Paused while I build experience.

Projects

harshsec.in — portfolio with a hidden CTF

2026

  • Shipped a multi-page site on Vercel with a strict Content Security Policy, HSTS, frame blocking and a published security.txt.
  • Built a 5-flag capture-the-flag game into the site: flags are verified server-side by SHA-256 hash, with per-IP rate limiting and a live leaderboard on Redis.
  • Added an AI terminal (serverless API), live Last.fm / Discord status and a GitHub activity graph.

Live lyrics display — ESP32 + OLED

2026

  • Hardware gadget that shows synced Spotify lyrics on a 0.96" SSD1306 screen, fed by a Python bridge reading Discord presence through the Lanyard API.

SnoozeSOC — parody security site

2026

  • A humorous "sleepy security company" site deployed on a separate domain.
